Management of Risk & Uncertainty (MoRU)
|
This is a two-day classroom-based course on identifying and managing risk. Developed and accredited by the
Institute of Risk Management (IRM),
the course raises awareness of risk management and explores the process, tools and techniques available for the
successful assessment and treatment of risk. All delegates successfully completing
a short assessment paper at the end of the course will receive a certificate testifying to their achievement
from the IRM.
Courses are run throughout the year and throughout the UK.
We also run in-house courses , where there are multiple delegates from the same
organisation.-Where this is appropriate, it saves money and boosts personalisation
to the organisation.

About the Tutor
Uncommon Solutions Limited is a specialist risk management consultancy and training provider, one of only a small
number of licensed providers of MoRU.-With a long history of developing and presenting
risk management courses, your tutor will be able to add the specialist practitioner’s knowledge and experience to
bring the subject to life.
Courses are run throughout the year, at comfortable, conveniently-located venues across the country and always
with few enough delegates to allow proper interaction and involvement for all.

In-house Courses
Where there are several delegates from the same organisation, it may be better to run the course on an 'in-house'
basis, which we are happy to do.-Significant discounts are available, as compared with
the rate per delegate for public courses.-An added benefit is that examples, case
studies and terminology can be adapted better to reflect your own particular business area.
We can accommodate up to 20 delegates on an in-house course, but do recommend that the maximum number is nearer to
12, to allow the session to be properly inter-active.-As an example of the cost, it is
normally possible to run an in-house course for a fee of £3,000-£3,500 plus VAT.-This
assumes that you will provide the room, refreshments etc., but we shall be pleased to do so, if necessary.
We are always happy to run in-house courses overseas. Ths costs are higher, because of the travel required, but are
much less than those of sending groups of delegates overseas. At present, our trainers can present only in English.
Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
